Fake deals and cheats

A few days ago, I saw a deal for Xpressions salon for hair smoothing and rebounding on mydala.com. Hair smoothing was for Rs. 2199 and Rebounding for Rs. 2999. I took both the deal as I got my hair rebounded 4th time in Dec 2013 and I was not sure that it was a good idea to get them rebounded again. I finally decided to get hair smoothing as the length of my hair were already pretty straight and the smoothing part said that it removes curls and frizzes.

Now the fun part starts. As soon as I arrived at the salon and spoke to the girl at reception at Lajpat Nagar branch, she completely ignored the fact that I already have a deal for Rs. 2199 and pitched in a "Straight smoothing" which was for Rs. 6000. She kept on saying "Hairs" instead of "Hair", you are working at a Salon, please learn some basic English related to your profession. She said the normal smoothing does not straighten the hair and kept on saying it repeatedly, which is not true at all and was very irritating the way she was saying it. When I said the rebounding deal is for Rs. 2999 and I would rather get the rebounding done, the argument to that was that they will have to chop off 50% of my hair length. I took a stand and said that I am not willing to spend such a huge amount, which was the reason I took the deal and will go for the smoothing. The girl at the reception had a talk with the girl who did the smoothing and I am sure she told her not to do it properly. Even the deion of the deal says that it "Gives smooth & shiny hair" and "Removes curls & frizzes", which did not happen at all with my hair. Infact they are even frizzier that before. They are big cheats, who lure people to their salons with these kinds of deals and then pressurize them to spend more. At the end when I asked for tips to take care of of hair and the selling started again, the words were "aapko yahi wala shampoo and conditioner use karna padega" the product was for around Rs.1700. if someone in charge is reading this, please teach some manner to your staff as to how to talk and deal with the customer and also please stop posting such fake deals.

I have to mention this thing to all girls, if you want a complete analysis of your hair, and thorough attention , especially if you have damaged hair, come here and nowhere else

in the past, i took a deal of rebounding, when i went the hairdresser just started without consulting me and i have lost 70 per cent of my hair, in the last 6 months..

Alex and anshu are the senior people here, and they did me my mom and my sister's hair, AND ALL THREE OF US, so far have not had any problem

except that my mom's hair fall has not stopped but has not increased as well.

so overal 4/5 , they just made us wait 20 mins thats all

fair offer, but need more details

I came early on a tuesday, so i found the salon relatively less crowded, the consultation was long, and a very hip hairdresser/manager i am not sure,but they were very thorough. had many options but went with loreal<br><br>its been a week, i went for a wash after 48 hours as they suggested, which was complimentary.<br><br>so 7 days, its still fine and smooth lets see how long it lasts.

Great length now, and no split ends

Alex is the best hairdresser hair, seriously go for him, or Saahil, they are senior and have more knowledge than other people<br><br>I was here for 3 hours, maybe more because they first gave me a thorough consultation about what to do with my hair, and how to take care of them afterwards, I had henna in my hair, and previous rebounding 1 year old, they told me it was risky on so much chemically treated hair, but i took the risk anyways, the good thing about their salon is location, and polite staff, i had 3 yummy coffees there with some great dhokla so great hospitality, time will tell about my result but its great so far.

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED: I went to Lajpat nagar outlet on Monday i.e. 15 sept 2014 for hair treatment. i got my hair smoothening done from there and after that it was quite ok. As far as i know that in hair smoothening, hairs get silky straight and shine n looks healthy. but nothing of them happened except straightening which was just because of****dry. For next two days i didn't washed my hairs as instructed by them. BUT immediately as i washed my hairs on third day, they felt more worse n rough what i earlier had. Highly disappointed by the service. It not only happened with me but also one of my friend who went along with me. Guys seriously telling if you have lots of money and time to waste then xpressions salon is the best place you can visit.

nice smoothening...

Overall e/perience,, 45 BT the manager had some confusion with the deal since there were so many customers! I recommend going on a week day Mon to Thursday,, they are more available and more focused,, ask had to go for a wash of the smoothening on Tuesday and it was more peaceful than Sunday,,,,,

Nice staff,, polite,, didn't push me to buy the aftercare products.

Came on a Sunday appointment BT still waited for 15 mins,,, service was smooth no hassle a week now and still have my results,,,fingers crossed.

Manager was too busy with other. Clients I would have liked her attention

Its a well put location,, BT did d mistake of going there on a Saturday,,, long quese and et had to wait 10 ;mins just to get water ,,,avoid weekends,,,,

When dey did start ,,this Alex hairdresser did a thorough analysis of my hair , I already knew evething. But dey insisted on a reconsultation

It took 2lonng hours,,, BT so far I m nt regretting it,,, BT the weird thing was ,othef girls had more shine than me in their salon

Nice,,genuine service

Smoothening took 3 hours', for my longish hip air, was ill bit too volume after first wash, but as I washed it became straight again, overall value for money and good ambiance

Pathetic Experince

Totally fake !!! I have wasted my time with this pathetic saloon. I have visited their lajpat nagar branch. Receptionist is so arrogant she dosen't know how to talk with the customers. She has given me half information on phone and when I have visited the saloon. She described me about extra charges etc. And worst thing when I asked her why you didnt tell me these extra charges on yesterday she replied its only your mistake I cant help it in this . You could have asked. Seriously pathetic. My advice if you are going to visit this saloon. please be ready for extra charges and the extra charges cost will be more comparison to actual cost of the package.

Bio-ionic keratin treatment

I had wavy and damaged hair and thoroughly needed a spa/smoothening treatment.

Initially when I was going through the deals in Mydala , I was really skeptical about this salon and its services. But as soon as I visited the salon, the staff gave me good consultation about my hair and what it needed. I must say they are really good at marketing as they convinced me to go for the bio-ionic ker. treatment as this process is infused with steaming and root-treatment, which gives you a long lasting finish.

Finally I went with Bio-ionic-Schwarzkopf keratin smoothening . Although the whole process took 3-4hours, but the hospitality and staff-interaction made it go smoothly. My hairs feels great after it. Today it has been 9 months since I had interacted with smoothening but my hair still feels great-soft-smooth and intact

Xpressions!

I paid just Rs.1499 and got an excellent oxy face clean up. I also got a pedicure and manicure, with bright red polish. I finally got a hair wash and hair cut. My hair was smooth and shiny after and the staff was very polite. Will be returning next month.

EXCELLENT SERVICES

What I like best about expressions is the way the staff over there consults with you about your haircuts. Staff is very committed to giving you what you want. They asks lots of questions and will make suggestions, but will never push you to do something you don't want to do (though, the times I have taken her suggestions, my hair always looks even better than usual). I also really appreciate that they doesn't try to push any products on me. I have tried their potli massage also, it really works so must try experience for proper rejuvenation
The salon itself is super nice, like everyone has said. They are very friendly and always ready to help and for suggestions also..OVERALL NICE EXPERIENCE...

Have been visiting the Punjabi Bagh branch for past 6 months & I am extremely satisfied with the services initially Prashant was a good hair dresser but recently Ms Chris gave me
a changed haircut which has been appreciated by all my friends & my dear husband. The four hours spent at the parlor were really pampering & relaxing with good results .

I liked loreal straight smoothening

my hair were already straight wavy, so i went for STRAIGHT SMOOTHENING INSTEAD,,, hair feel good texture ok , the directions to the location should be mentioned on the website

I had really bad hair, and was extremely cautious on treatment, had a long boring discussion with them, but finally understood the procedure

Actuall cost is not 3000,it's lesser than wat u r paying 899.i m feeling so sad that they make fool out of us.m shocked it was jst washing of my hands to what they called manicure.uhhhhhh

Misrepresented promotion

So, I have been an xpression regular since half a decade now, its a bit over priced but the services are good or shall i say were good untill I went to them with a coupon I bought online.

They gave bad treatment, my hair were worse when I came out of the salon and I had to pay more money than i initially paid online and in total what they usually charge to have those straight smooth hair. They have a good clientele and still they do this to make some more money,, its sad and disappointing.

Misleading deal

I bought this deal from another website. Its misleading because its not proper smoothening (your hair won't be 100% straight).
hair will be straight 30-40% which is not mentioned in the deal.
I had to pay extra to get proper smoothening with straight hair. Results were good though.

Advice to merchant: Transparent terms and conditions shows honesty and it will attract more customers.
