Classic Maharashtra food
A place for pure Classic Maharashtra food. And believe me it was really good. Great combo of curry and spices in the food will amaze your taste buds. You will feel like having good and delicious tasty "Ghar Ka Khana" types feeling here. A must check out place for a different type of food in this city.
Diva Maharashtracha is a superb resaturant, good food and great ambeince is its specialty. we all friends a group of about 7 of us had been here for lunch, and did order for limited food without any alcoholic drinks and the bill we recieved was a huge mount. Its good but very very expensive i feel.
Diva Maharashtracha I got to visit this place for the first time when one of my friends took me here. On stepping in, I liked the ambience of the place. We ordered many dishes and I was happy with the decision of visiting the place. The food was delicious and hygienic.
Diva Maharashtracha turned out to be an amazing venue for my birthday celebration. I had to treat my friends at my birthday and we were looking for a nice place where ambience is good for celebration and food is simply great.
Diva Maharashtracha The cuisines are Maharashtrian, Konkani, Goan, south Indian etc and you can expect to get the best of all the worlds under one roof. The Churiso (Goan pork sausages) with Garlic pav and the pork roast with Appams are to die for. Andhra chicken is another item on the menu that makes you want to order for more
Diva Maharashtracha fare set amidst Sanskrit etchings on a mirrored wall, Paithani sari and Warli paintings - you get all this with a soulful, homely feel in the Mahim restaurant. Diva Maharastracha has also opened in Andheri now
Aah, I finally came down here the other day and boy oh boy! The food was simply liberating! This is true authentic Marathi food that I had been looking for since so long! Good stuff, great going! Come down here to have true Marathi food.
I was so excited to eat some really mouth-watering Maharashtrian food at Diva Maharashtracha as I have heard a lot about it from my friends. And as I went there I couldn'??t help but agree with what I have heard. The malwani prawns served at Diva Maharashtracha is my favourite, if I have to describe it in just word than I will say ??scrumptious.
The Masale bhat arrived but distinctly looked as if made by an north immigrant cook, so non maharashtrian was it. The first spoon and N gamely declared It is nice. Chicken Malwani the color red, looking as if doused in sauce or tomatoes made me forget the Malwan factor, tried the first bite and it tasted as if 6 years deep fridge chicken in a village near England where I had something similar in a Bangladeshi restaurant many moons ago.
As we entered, the strains of a cat being strangled could be heard, till my musically challenged ears recognized it as a 'Goan' singing a hindi song, ballad style. Found ourselves a corner table, ordered a drink & panhe for the wife. So far, so good. The wife was really excited about the menu and food, but knowing how weird I could be, decided to order the basics Kaju kothimbir vadi and sabudana vada. Both arrived promptly and were nice, fluffy with great taste and immediately gobbled down. The portions were perfect for 3 people and hence felt a bit full.
