Sbarro’s roots go back to Naples, Italy where for Gennaro and Carmela Sbarro the art of crafting Italian cuisine was a way of life. The couple and their three sons, Mario, Joseph and Anthony, immigrated to America in 1956 to pursue their dream of owning a successful business in the U. S. Their Sbarro Italian Delicatessen in Brooklyn, N.Y. was well received by the local community and was the first of what would grow to become over 1,000 Sbarro restaurants. Sbarro was purchased in 2007 by MidOcean Partners. In November 2011 Sbarro successfully emerged from a Chapter 11 reorganization filed earlier in the year and is currently owned by a Group of Institutional Investors....
Love This Place
I and my daughter just love sbarro. How could you not appreciate a huge slice of pizza for a really cheap price? Got a combo voucher from mydala.com. Well it's still pretty affordable but when you have all these other pizza places nowadays, I think you need to step up your game a little bit and improve the quality of your pizza. Needless to say, my daughter loves their pizza and the pasta, so that's why I go there. The workers are friendly and the portions are pretty good. The pizza was very tasty and crust was extremely soft. Good flavors and combination of items and every one should try this place.
