We stay here when we visit Mysore for Dussera holidays. The hotels was itself in festive mood with lot of lighting and decorations, special offers and festive sweets. But if you want to visit during holiday season ensure you have a reservation. We did not make a reservation before going there in a holiday season time and had to wait some time. But thankfully the hotel management helped us get accommodated.

I was looking out for a decent(budget) yet peaceful accommodation for a family over the weekends as it was casual trip to mysore.
