Nova Specialty Surgery, India's first standalone day surgery center was launched in 2009 in Koramangala. It is spread across 12,000 sqft and has ultra-modern facilities. In just over one year, Nova Specialty Surgery Koramangala completed 1500 surgeries, a testimony to our superior facilities, surgical expertise and services. More than 70 per cent of all surgeries can be performed under daycare procedures. Nova Specialty Surgery offers upwards of 700 such procedures, covering specialties like ENT, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Plastic & Cosmetic and Urology. Minimally invasive procedures are hugely beneficial to patients because of smaller incisions, minimal damage to surrounding tissues, lesser inflammation and negligible blood loss. Since the procedures do not require an overnight stay, patients can also avoid contracting Hospital-Acquired Infections (HAIs). Typically, surgical procedures at our Center take 30 minutes to 2 hours, allowing patients to return home the same day. Patients undergoing daycare procedures recover faster and resume normal routine within a day or two. At our centers, the surgeries/procedures are performed by surgeons who are the best in their respective fields. The team of surgeons at our Koramangala center includes Dr.MG Bhat, Dr. Mahesh Reddy, Dr. Jaya Bhat and Dr. Nanda Rajaneesh. All our centers have 4-5 ultra-modern operating rooms.
