I stayed at this place in October 2012 and it was a great place to live while in Goa. Would love to go back and thank you Surya Sangolda for a wonderful time in Goa.

We just stopped at the first one we found that is Jaies group of hotel, but we were not disappointed. The room was very nicely decorated and looked more like an apartment rather than a hotel room. It had a separate lounge area and desk. Only thing missed is the net or wifi connection which is really required there.

Castle Kanota the property itself is fabulous. Food was 100% Indian, locally sourced and well prepared. It was delicious I have to say. And the dining room, on the upper level, is fabulous. I also appreciated the opportunity to sit on a polo pony in the morning.

The rooms are small but clean. One can enjoy hills from windows upon getting up in the morning. The room service is good and but the food needs some improvement. There are five floors in the hotel connected with stairs and lift. The atmosphere around is calm because there is no market or residential area around.

Quality of food is good, arrives fresh from the kitchen of owners who live on the top floor. People who work there are nice. Should have complimentary pick up and drop. Service a little slow or else everything is good.

Highly recommend this hotel. The room was simple but spacious, clean, comfortable with free wifi and internet facility. The hotel owner is a very friendly and helpful person. They have a very nice lake view roof top restaurant.
