I have made my trip for shimla last week . I stay there with my family in auckland hotel. I feel very thankful to hotel administration for providing me good service .Hotel Auckland enjoys a convenient location which makes it likeable by the tourists. All the interesting spots are mostly within walking distance from the hotel. Rooms are dotted with plenty of facilities. The hospitality of the hotel is simply great.
Excellent location, staff & management was courteous and humble, they try hard to make stay comfortable, amazing range of snow peaks from the room, we were fortunate enough to see it in June, generally in summers it's hard to see Himalayan peaks due to some mist over range, food was delicious and like home made, amazing jungle trek was awesome and made our trip memorable lifetime, great time we spent there, will certainly back.
I stayed in this Hotel in July month on my business trip... location is near to lal chowk... but the infrastructure of Hotel is outdated now. However best part of this property is their food. Their restaurant is famous for Kashmiri cuisine. I liked the mutton rogan josh, mutton mirchi korma.... Saffron Kahwa served by them was also good. If you want peaceful location apart from noisy location at Dal Lake then go for this.
Value for money. Location is very good i.e. at Main Chowk Katra. Room is good according to money and geyser is working very fine. One issue that we faced is the service. for eg we ordered for tea, then sometimes the waiter takes 45 min to order the same.
Though the room was clean enough the bathroom remained wet - some leaking taps. Cigarette smoke use use to come from the adjacent bathroom. Mosquitoes disturbed the sleep.Continental breakfast was not available.Management was arranging cabs at double the rates.
We only stayed 2 nights and wish we had stayed for longer. It really is beautiful and so peaceful. The journey here is a sight in itself through little villages but the road is very poor so allow a lot of travelling time (3 hours from Mysore). The water and land safaris were great, probably the land one is more exciting but seeing the mist suddenly go on the river was magic.
We stayed there for two nights separated by 4 days.On both days the service was excellent, the rooms were super cosy and very clean and the front office was very polite and helping. The guys got us food in the rooms as there was a big group of people travelling together so they told us to go to our romms and served us very good food away from the group.
It is nice budget hotel. However hotel is old but maintained. Every location is easily accessible from here. Service is good. Rooms are of ok size as compared to room in Kashmir. We went to this hotel after staying one night in another disater hotel in Srinagar. But we got prompt booking without any advance.
The hotel has a good location. The rooms and washroom are clean and nice. The LCD TV is small (I think 21" but looks smaller) but can suffice. The breakfast menu is adequate and has a decent ambience. For the price, it is comfortable for a short stay. I dont think i would prefer it for a longer stay than 1-2 days. It is convenient and can suggest this hotel.
value for money, unlike a govt. hotel, the property has been uplifted!!!! nyc rooms, swimming pool and LCD z missing though but comfortable, staff is courteous with prompt service. Location is very perfect, spacious rooms .!!!!! gud food!!!! nyc staff. great place!!!!!!
We stayed here for two nights on a work trip to Dehradun. The hotel is far away from the centre of town, which is fine because it puts some distance between you and the grime of a newly booming city business centre. But the service is definitely below the standard expected of a hotel that charges a hefty tariff... We were disappointed with the check-in desk and their complete inefficiency in helping us get to our room (we arrived late at night, there was nobody at the desk and when we rang the bell, a grumpy man came slumbering around and demanded a slew of identity cards. It was only 30 minutes later that he deigned to give us our key). Breakfast is a sad affair with measly portions and strangely fluorescent fluid in tiny glasses instead of juice. I would not stay here again if I had a choice.
The location and the staffs are mind blowing.......Every thing about this hotel revolves around the fact "atithi devo bhava"....The tidyness and cleanliness maintained here make the stay an experience to remember apart from that it is the hotel i will like to check in during my next stay.
I had visited Seashore Beach Resort during the end Of January This year. It was a very pleasant stay and the staff were very cooperative. The main USP of this hotel ( not a resort by any means) is its excellent location. Bengalis can be very comfortable in this resort as a few staffs of the hotel know Bengali well and they make you at ease as the best they can. I will refer this hotel to travellers who want the most out of the money they pay for a room. The Calangute beach is very close to the hotel; it seemed it was the last property before the sea-side shacks started and you have to just walk a few minutes and you reach the beach.Overall it is a good budget hotel.
Hotel Malti palace is awesome we had such a nice stay over there. The best part was the service. People are very soft spoken. It was chilling night but thanks that they provided heavy blankets. Food at Hotel Mayur is cheap and very delicious. Had a very nice time with family.
A nice hotel with good rooms and a lavish breakfast spread. It is having an outdoor swimming pool in the lap of the mountains and a health club. It's a ten minutes drive from ban Ganga . A nice place to stay en route to Mata Darshan
Excellent Hotel at Katra, Very Good Staff. Decent Location, Nice View from Hotel. Food is also good. They provide transportation to and fro ban ganga. Very supportive staff. I liked the hotel and must visit for the next time.
After spending a day in Shimla we headed to Manali. On the way we went to kufri and believe me without spending a moment in Kufri we decided to go directly to Manali. after driving for about 10 hours we reached Manali in the night. We checked-in to Manali heights , the staff was very friendly and supportive too. Quickly they reached to us and collected the luggage and helped us to move into our room.
Stayed in the hotel for three nights, all staff are very attentive and friendly, food is fantastic, and location of the hotel is very central so easy excess to local market. don't be afraid to haggle there printed prices, upto 40% discount is available on these prices.
We stopped in this hotel for three nights. From the airport 30-40 minutes reached. In numbers it is pure and were cleaned well. For a breakfast choice of dishes the small. The beautiful pool, but we went to the beach. Next time we will surely stop in this hotel.
I recently travelled to katra on 29 sep.I stayed in hotel varun for 1 night. The rooms are clean and the pick and drop service provided by hotel was excellent. The hotel rate are less then the other hotels of similar star. They even booked my tickets for volvo bus.I would definately recommend this hotel for stay.
