We call ourselves a GREEN store as we promote GREEN Living. Green Living is essentially healthy sustainable living with minimal environmental impact. Our story started with our own search for chemical free natural products & organically grown produce that we wanted to use for our families. We had gotten tired of using the same old commercial products with the issues of falling hair, worsening skin, unhealthy food, rising water & electricity consumption and non recyclable residues. This store was conceptualized to make sustainable living an easy choice for consumers.
As we started researching more, we found out that getting started on this virtuous cycle was not easy. Although, India has the largest collection of natural remedies, food & beauty products known to man courtesy Ayurveda, there are hardly any stores online or offline that provide all these products under one roof.
We started myGREENkart as a solution for people like us who are looking for ways to reduce the chemical content in our lives, live healthy and be environmentally as well as socially conscious. We assure you that all the products listed on our site are either organic, natural, or herbal; energy saving, or renewable energy run; are handmade; or contribute to a healthier home. Most of the products on our site have been personally tested by us, as well as friends & family to ensure that we get you the best products. Our endeavor with our product selection has been to get new products from likeminded entrepreneurs who are working towards making India greener and healthier. We are also working with NGOs to get their products to market and help you contribute to a cause.
